HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOFIA JO!!!! TWO YEARS OLD!!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet & sassy baby girl. What she loves: princesses, pink, singing and dancing, farms (especially pigs and cows), playing anything Ava and Gabe play, dress-ups, riding her tricycle, taking baths, helping Mom cook, being read to, lotioning Mom's baby belly, and cuddling Mommy & Daddy. We love you, Sofia. We are so lucky you came to our family.

Gabe's Special Day

This past weekend was an extra special one... Gabe has been looking forward to it for awhile, and was totally bummed after we told him we would have to wait a few more weeks until his cast was off to be baptized. We have been talking and reading a lot about baptism, and have been reading in the scriptures about Mormon teaching and baptizing. He knows this is an important decision.
So, here is our handsome boy!!
11-5-11

I caught a moment of Grandpa McCurdy tying Gabe's Red Sox tie for church the next day. :)

And... last, but not least... a belly picture. This is 36+ 6 days along. I had a checkup on Tuesday, and  Dr. Smith said I'm already 1 cm dilated! I hope baby stays put for a week or two longer, as much as I am excited to meet him, and feeling more sharp pains and hard, uncomfortable kicks, I would feel better if he had more time to develop!
(Do I look ready to pop, or what?!?)

Gabe's Wolf

Gabe earned his Wolf for his first pack meeting, September 15th, 2011! We are so proud of him. He loves scouts already; one of his little buddies from our neighborhood is in it too, so he reaaaally looks forward to it.
I got my first pin!! I'm really a Mom now. ;)

His face was officially painted- each color had a meaning.

And he was then asked to give his mom a kiss. Lucky me-- but he was embarrassed. I ended up with a big smudge of colored paint on my cheek! ;)
Gabe is growing up. I can't believe he is in scouts. And getting baptized November 5!! Wow.

After the awards, we folded all kinds of paper airplanes and then competed to see what flew the craziest, farthest, longest, etc. I made one called the 'Karate Kid' and it was awesome! It flew a long ways! I think pack meeting was a really good kick start for Gabe. He looks forward to it every week.

And, I had to add theses adorable girls in their matching blue dresses. How fitting their stickers wouldn't come off! :)

Go Cougars

We went to Provo for 2 weekends in a row for some BYU football watchin'. First game- SAD (oh, the team just didm't pull through). Second game, FUN!! These photos are from the 2nd trip down, September 23 & 24. We traveled with Swensens, and spent Saturday at Hogle Zoo and lunch at Rodizio's. I love Brazilian food! And the strawberry limeade...
Anyway. I digress. This is one of the last family outings we will have before we add baby #4!! (I can't believe it. We are counting weeks now.)

Sofia LOVED the loud music, and all that there was to see! Even though it was a quick game, she zonked out about a half hour before it was over.
We enjoyed hot dogs, kettle corn, a cougar tail (looong maple bar), and watching Dad holler at the players.

We ALL cheered and screamed!! Sofia just followed:).

Somehow I ended up with no pictures of Gabe? I know I took one of him and Greg... I think they are elsewhere in my photos.
Haha! I love the glimpse of Greg you get here:

Ava and her lip gloss... always.

I love these girls!
Fun memories.

BIG SLIDE & Sofia's poop faces:)

On the drive home from Logan, I got these pictures of Sofia.
I think this is funny... at first Sofia was giggly and silly, then it changed into grumpy and uncomfortable, fast. I didn't realize it when I snapped the pictures, but she was pooping!! Haha!

Justin and Angela Heider invited us to go with all the Heiders to a big slide in Glenns Ferry for a fun Family Home Evening. We brought a cooler of food and treats, and sat and watched. The kids LOVED the slide. Even Sofia tried it a few times- a bit scary for her!
Gabe & Jake. I had another picture of them, but I can't find it. It was on Greg's phone... so when I find it, I'll add it on here.

Tylee Heider & Ava- they squealed the WHOLE way down EVERY time. Cute.

Escape to Utah

Before Greg's MS Ride, I took the kids a few days early to Utah for a break from real life... much needed!! I had been feeling very lonely and friend-less, and worn out. And, well, feeling sorry for myself. Boo. So, the kids and I spent time at my Mom's painting nails, playing, laughing, lemonade-selling, swinging in the hammock, eating yummy food, tie-dying, bracelet-making, (Sofia) tormenting Rumbi, and enjoying the sunshine. Aaahhhh... just the therapy I needed (and probably the kids, too)! THANKS, Mom, Chad, and kids!!!

Don't mind me looking retarded in the below pictures... not sure what I was doing!!
