We began our summer with a birthday party for Gavin down at Bass Lake. It was pirate theme complete with swords, a pirate flag with crossbones, a pirate cake, and a pinata in a boat shape, and of course, CANDY! We all had fun, including adults. Jo and I were talking about how we think we hold birthday parties just so the parents can get together!
