Drew's wedding

Greg and I left the kids at home with Kacey & Casey Swensen and flew to Seattle from Boise on a Saturday morning and then returned the next day, Sunday afternoon. It was short and sweet. We were really hungry when we got in, so we headed to the wharf with Dad while Wendy ironed and waited for Brianne and Drew to return to the hotel. We all felt really useless, but all the arrangements and help needed were taken care of, so we had nothing to do for 3-4 hours! We found this place called The Fisherman's. It was delicious. I had clam chowder, salmon, broccoli, and rice pilaf. Greg and Dad shared a bucket of mussels (EW); maybe I would have tried one if I wasn't sicky prego with a strong gag reflex. Anyway, they also shared a bowl of salad, a king crab, and a huge pot of clam chowder. YUM. We were really full.

This is the one of the only shots I got (with my phone-I know- tacky) of the wedding. It was weird. The pastor couldn't be more confused about whatever he was talking about. The only something kind of happy was that Drew and Nikki found Jesus. And we kept getting kicked out of our seats! haha! Greg was like, "Are they trying to give us a hint?" Regardless, they're a cute little granola couple. Her dress was really pretty on her.
Seattle is beautiful. and green. and wet. and gray. I couldn't live there, but it's fun to visit! There were trees in bloom everywhere. And, I got a picture from the plane of the cloudy mountains below.
